I'm a 25-year-old student from Norway, and I currently study CS at NTNU in Trondheim. My field of interests (atm) is operating systems, embedded systems, and hardware design, but I'm also generally interested in many parts of computing.

Open source software

My entry to the open source world was when I started to use Linux in 2000/2001, and I have ever since used it to perform various tasks. Today I use FreeBSD, and operation system derived from the original BSD codebase, and I'm also a FreeBSD committer.

Computers

I'm interested in computers, and at my spare time, I use the computer for music, video, and of course programming. I've taken great interest in computing in general, but I find programming very fun because of things you can do to a computer with it. I also have a great interest in operating systems, so my FreeBSD contributions are a result of that.

Football

This is an activity that interests me a lot. I find it amusing to play it, and watch it. Ham-Kam is (of course) the best team.

Music

I'm very fond of music, and I listen to metal, jazz, funk and soul, but I can listen to all kinds of music. A couple of years ago I bought my own guitar, so I could create music myself, and I think playing on it is a very relaxing activity.
